Powercore Engineering is a joint venture between Richard and Alex, built on nearly 40 years of combined experience in electrical infrastructure.We have both spent our careers working hands-on in the industry, gaining experience across HV and LV systems, and understanding what it really takes to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Where It Started
We both started out in the industry on the contracting side, and first met back in 2009 during our apprenticeship with EON Central Networks. Since then, we have worked across all kinds of environments – underground, above ground, From Grid Substations to battling against the elements to restore power to individual customers in the middle of winter, we have grafted in all weathers and at all hours – building up the experience that has shaped how we work.
That journey is what shaped our approach today and ultimately led to the creation of Powercore Engineering.
What We Do
Jointing is at the core of what we do – it is what we have built our careers on, and it is something we genuinely enjoy.From HV and LV cable jointing and terminations to full infrastructure installation and maintenance, we cover all aspects of electrical distribution work across commercial and industrial projects.It’s not just a job for us – it is something we take real pride in.
How We Work
We run Powercore Engineering together, and we are both hands-on in the work we deliver. Our approach is simple – turn up when we say we will, communicate properly, and complete the job to the highest standard. We believe in doing things properly the first time, working safely, and standing by the quality of our work.
What Drives Us
We take pride in what we do – both in the work itself and in the reputation we are building. Outside of work, we both keep active and value staying fit and healthy, which carries through into our work ethic on site. What drives us is simple – doing a proper job, building something of our own, and delivering work we are proud to put our name to.
